House Redistricting Committee Chair Tom Leek on Thursday defended the Legislature’s redistricting deferment to Gov, Ron DeSantis, saying it has “never been true” that mapping responsibility rests solely with the Legislature.
He also said he expects the Legislature to approve a map next week that would be “part Governor’s map, and part legislative map.”
