Florida’s attorney general, Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry, and others are all getting involved in a redistricting fight here in Northeast Florida. Gov. Ron DeSantis is asking the state Supreme Court to weigh in on whether eliminating North Florida’s only Black congressional district would violate the state constitution. This would make congressman Al Lawson’s district, Congressional District 5, vulnerable.
